Although SSC CGL’s pay scale varies by position, it is established on the 7th Pay Commission and provides a decent mix of base pay, benefits, and allowances.

Level 5 Pay (₹29,200–₹92,300)

• Positions: Junior Accountant, Accountant, and Auditor

Level 4 Pay (₹25,500–₹81,100)

Candidates’ knowledge, aptitude, and abilities are evaluated through a multi-stage selection process in the SSC CGL (Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level) exam. There are four primary stages to the process.

Tier 1: The Qualification Phase

• The four subjects of this online objective test are General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. It is used to screen applicants for the following phase and is qualifying in nature
